Our Mission B.C.D.( an acronym for “Bu Cha Dian”) Art and Music Academy is the subsidiary under B.C.D. Edu Group. Located in San Bruno, California. Bu Cha Dian, which means “No-Wifi, No Screen-Time” in Chinese, is a space we have created in response to these realities. B.C.D. Edu Group is to empower children through interactive, hands-on learning experiences and kids’ courses designed to help them navigate the world with confidence and joy. They’ll learn how to communicate with each other in constructive and respectful ways while having the support and guidance to unlock their full self-expression through arts, crafts, and music in our revolutionary after-school program.

Emma Ye, founder of B.C.D. (Buchadian) Edu Group and B.C.D. Arts and Music Studio, is on a mission to provide a safe and supportive environment for children to disconnect from electronics and explore their creative potential. Missed a lesson? Out of town? No problem. Just sign up for our make up classes. They never expire, and you can come when it's convenient for you.

Conveniently located on El Camino Real in San Bruno

Due to its central location, our school is convenient and draws students from Redwood City, Palo Alto, San Mateo, Mountain View, and South San Francisco. We are easy to find, right off El Camino Real, with shopping and restaurants close by.

Month to Month lessons

Our desire is to inspire our students with the love of music. We do this through teachers and music that our students love. Unlike other programs, we do not require semester minimums for lessons. You can begin anytime! To stop lessons, we just need a 30 day notice.

If you are ready to start, you have nothing to lose as we only want students who truly want to be here and we will not commit you to a long term contract.

Meet the Founder

As a mother, I realized there are very few resources that provide proper guidance for parenthood. I wanted to change that and create a comfortable community for struggling and working moms so that they can take better care of themselves and their children. Many new parents feel overwhelmed and often find themselves under stress. To make parenthood easier and make a positive impact on children's lives, I took the leap into entrepreneurship.With the Buchadian Edu Group, I’m on a mission to empower children to become the best version of themselves. I believe that by empowering children, we can create a generation that is engaged in our community and has a vested interest in making it a better place.

The idea behind our program is to engage children in creative activities and allow them to explore their emotions, needs, and feelings. We believe that through art and music they will be able to find their inner voice.We focus on sharing feelings and telling stories by children who create art or compose songs. The motivation behind their creativity comes from a sense of connection to the world around them, combined with a need for communication and empathy. Sharing feelings and telling stories is the future skill of children. We believe that children can think outside of the box and create lots of innovative possibilities. We encourage them to use their creativity to solve problems and make things happen.
